Optimize your Energy

We only have one body, when it works well we can take it for granted, but when it doesn’t, your entire life can be affected. My life was transformed by adopting a “clean eating” healthy lifestyle. About 11 years ago, I made radical changes to my nutrition. I started eating whole foods loaded with good nutrition. Since then, I now have more energy, mental alertness, improved sleep, and a stronger sense of confidence in myself. For so many years I have become accustomed to enjoying an overall wellness while rarely getting sick.

This past week I got a sinus infection and was reminded of how awful it feels to be sick and how it affects your day to day productivity. For example, being sick dropped my energy tank to "empty." My energy was so low that I was not able to stay mentally focused, which deprived me from completing all my important tasks for the week. I realized my sinus infection was not getting any better so I decided to take a day off from work to rest. I also did not have the energy to work out at all. I am usually a joyful person but this past week my mood was different, I was irritable and didn’t want to be bothered. It’s now Saturday evening and instead of enjoying some time having fun, I’m at home resting to get better. Now, thankfully I’ve opted for the no anti-biotic’s option and been doing holistic home remedies to get well.

This led me to think, how many people go through life feeling this way? How many people don’t enjoy life and do not function at optimal health? How does your health affect your work productivity? Most importantly, how does your current health affect the quality of your life and your relationships? Are you interested in learning about how you can optimize your energy? Are you tired of feeling lethargic and just going through life? Are you tired of continously getting sick?
